Brides can truly feel like a fairy-tale princess at this exclusive use, 400 year old castle

Hensol Castle is right up there as one of our favourite luxury Welsh wedding venues. Formerly a 17th Century stately home, this stunning venue is set in 650 acres of rolling Welsh countryside, and is full of enchanting features throughout the building.

Aston Band provided the whole days’ entertainment for Mel and Julian. Ryan (drums) & Luke (guitar/vocals) set up in the foyer of the castle to perform an ambient live lounge acoustic set. Both Ryan and Luke had recently returned from touring with James Arthur.

More often than not, during the drinks reception, you will be whisked off to get your photos taken, and there can be a bit of a lull in proceedings. Adding daytime entertainment keeps the buzz alive, as the momentum never dies.

An incredibly well thought out special day

The weather was absolutely beautiful so our sax player headed outside to the courtyard to perform an ‘Ibiza Style’ set whilst guest enjoyed a little more fizz in the sunshine! We absolutely love having a saxophonist with us. It undoubtedly adds extra sparkle, and is always a talking point for guests both young and old.

Everything about this wedding was just lovely. The men looked dashing in their black tie dress code, the bridesmaids looked beautiful, and the flowers were out of this world. It was an incredibly well thought out special day.
